ABOUT LINEN
Our linens are having an exceptional soft hand feel to give you ultimate comfort. Interestingly Linens gives cool comfort in summers and maintain warmth in winters making them an ideal fabric choice for your office or daily wear and home linens like Beddings, Pillows, and Cushions & Throws etc.
Natural
Natural Linen can have occasional ‘slubs’ in the weave which are not faults but characteristic of the fiber. Thicker yarn fabric will always have knots and should not be considered any weaving defect.
Washing
Our linen can be washed in a washing machine & hand wash. We don’t recommend bleach as it can damage any sort of fabric. Many detergents contain optical whitening agents that work well on white linens. These are not recommended for colored linens however, as discoloring and spotting may result from it. When washing colors, check that your detergent does not have whitening agents.
General Care:
- Unfold linens completely before washing
- Keep the temperature max. 30°C
- Avoid chlorine bleach or detergents having whitening agent.
- If possible, line dry, upside down and do not expose it to direct sun lights.
- Avoid using a tumbler but if no option dries on Light heat, do not over dry.
- Light Iron with steam on slightly damp linen (best the inside of the fabric).
Color reproduction
Linen (flax) is a natural fiber and not always uniform in texture and color. While every effort is taken to ensure the color reproduction of our fabric card, catalogue or website is accurate as possible; we cannot guarantee a 100% color match.
Pilling
Pilling will happen over time and all fabrics pill to some extent.
The cause of pilling is abrasion. The fibers simply get damaged by friction and abrasion through either wear and tear, or whilst being washed.
